Since the introduction of electricity disclosure in 2006, Ruedi Zurbrügg has been deeply involved with the topic. In various roles, he was able to build and share extensive knowledge in this field. Over the past 20 years, he has advised, trained, or audited more than 250 energy suppliers in Switzerland. For many years, he served as a point of contact for the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (BFE) regarding practical questions on electricity disclosure, and for 17 years he conducted training sessions on the subject for the Swiss Association of Electricity Companies (VSE).
As of October 1, 2025, Ruedi Zurbrügg will hand over the reins of electricity disclosure to Christoph Meier (EnergieberatungMeier). As an experienced expert in the field of guarantees of origin and electricity disclosure, he has an in-depth knowledge of the regulatory framework in Switzerland. In his previous role, Christoph Meier supported around 200 Swiss clients and thus developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by energy suppliers and industrial customers. With his experience in both the Swiss and European markets, he brings valuable expertise based on a solid understanding of both. He is now applying this knowledge through his own company, helping businesses to successfully and sustainably master current challenges.
#Ruedi Zurbrügg is pleased to have found in Christoph Meier a young and motivated professional to take over his responsibilities in the field of electricity disclosure. This ensures that Ruedi Zurbrügg’s clients will continue to have seamless access to practical expertise in electricity disclosure.
