How it all started...
With the takeover of electricity labeling in 2025 from Ruedi Zurbrügg and the new requirements introduced by the Mantelerlass, we recognized an urgent need for action.
The legally required quarterly accounting makes the previous Excel-based management practically impossible. Added to this are constantly changing staff, knowledge loss, and the general need to simplify the complex topic of GOs.
From the combination of Christoph Meier’s years of experience in the field of Guarantees of Origin, hundreds of conversations with Swiss energy suppliers, and Daniel Meier’s solid expertise in software development, a simple, functional platform was created:
